Dreams In The Night.
Can God speak through dreams? Most often dreams are like this ship sitting on a bridge in the middle of a city. Bits and pieces that don’t make sense. Every so often we will revisit an event or endeavor that we recently favored with our time. A rerun of sorts. But will God speak to us through dreams? There are stories coming out of the Mid-East telling of Arabs and Persians dreaming of Jesus.
What Does The Bible Say About Dreams?
The prophecy of Joel 2:28-29 states, and the apostle Peter quotes , “And it shall… come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, and your young men see visions. Even on the male and female servants in those days, I will pour out my Spirit,”
Least you think that this amazing time was only for the apostolic age Peter continues, “And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor and smoke; the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:17-21
Old Men Will Dream Dreams.
It is obvious we are still waiting for that “MAGNIFICENT DAY” and God will still communicate in whatever way necessary to get our attention, so that He might teach us His thoughts and His ways.
Had any dreams lately? What about visions? Are you declaring His word? Are you serving Him? God has promised to pour out His Spirit upon His servants, both male and female. Everyone who calls upon the name of Jesus will be saved. How amazing is that!
