I am lost without a Navigator.
Truly, I am lost without guidance if not for God and the gift He has given me. Adventures in the Spirit require a guide as do adventures in the flesh. Jesus asked, and the Father sent the Holy Spirit to lead, but when it came to earthly direction I was completely in the dark like a prophet without a vision. God brought me Vicki, to be my navigator.
She encourages me to stay the course, to follow the directions sent from above. Without her I could hardly organize a day trip to the park, never mind a trip half way around the world. And forget about dates, my mind wanders and cannot be trusted. She is there for me, I am complete.
On The Sea of Galilee with My Navigator.
Two hundred sheckels and I became a boat’s captain for a half an hour on the Sea of Galilee. We were alone off the shores of Tiberias passing ships named “The Hope Boat” and “Praise and Prayer.” The afternoon was drawing to a close and we were happy.
Our thoughts were not about Jesus as He walked upon water in the midst of a storm, nor how powerful that storm must have been to frighten fishermen. We had shared those thoughts earlier. How good and pleasant it was to just be on the Sea.
“After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on them that were diseased.” (John 6:1-2)
Do you believe in miracles? Has He called you? Are you following Him?
