There’s a time for every season, and winter is next.
It happens to all of us no matter where we live. It is more than a matter of our placement to the sun. Each of us go through our seasons from the cradle to the grave.
“But wait,” you say, “I’m not done yet. I have barely begun, or at least there are lots of good years before MY winter sets in.”
There is another winter coming that all will notice. Winter is more than an earthly season or the finality of our flesh. It is the end before a new beginning.
We have run the course set by sin, there is not much further to go. The day draws near for the slaves to pay the Piper. Their house was built on debt. A note must be paid, the interest is accruing. And it happened everywhere.
“But, things are great, or so it’s said. The top seems to be spinning. At least MY head’s above water.”
Winter is coming and the dams will break. Our systems are out of control. Right is wrong and wrong is right. Criminals are rewarded by their schemes while the poor become many and of less value to sin’s virtue called greed.
The treasures of the world will not help the souls that were sold for gold. Their day of pleasures will have passed. The world they built was built on blood that cries out to be avenged. There will be chaos toward the end.
“You paint a grim picture. How do you know things will end badly? Have you heard from the Devine?”
I’m not blind, the signs are there. The children of Satan are many. Their kings rise up in the quest of power as they prepare for war. Winter is coming. I can see our state of affairs. The hearts of men are hardening and soon will grow cold.
It doesn’t have to end this way, at least for a chosen few. The call is to many, all that would hear, yet sadly God’s word will prove true, “Many are invited (to the banquet of God,) but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14) It seems most were not wearing the proper clothes.
What to wear for this winter to come?
“Robes washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:14) You will then be prepared for a glorious new beginning. How amazing to be invited and know what you should wear!
