Year of Dwelling.

2018

May this be the year of dwelling. Dwelling on who I AM is, His word dwelling in you and you dwelling in Jesus’ gift, salvation. Be thankful to God for all that you have. Stop complaining and praise Him for His goodness to you. Find joy in this dwelling place, it is called “Entering into God’s Rest.”

Some would say, “It’s not for today” this rest that God has promised. I would say, “Don’t listen to their hardened hearts.” Our rest in Christ was promised  by God Almighty. It is a place of rest entered when we believe God’s message. “For we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, ‘As in My anger I swore, They (those who do not believe) shall not enter My rest.'” (Hebrews 4:3; Psalm 95:11)

“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” Disobedience and disbelief prevented Joshua from bringing Israel into God’s rest. They were people just like us. “So then, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God’s rest also cease from their labors as God did from His.”  (Hebrews 4:9-10)

The Great I Am is calling His children to rest with Him. There is no need to worry and fret, God Almighty is our Father. He has already numbered and planed our days. Each one is to be full of peace when we quit struggling because of unbelief. “In Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) That really says it all! Our very existence is because of Him. And He made forever possible for those who believe in Jesus. Praise God!

May your new year be restful. You’re loved.

For those following, God willing, “Building the Temple of God” pg. 21 will continue tomorrow.
