Glorify His Name.

Did I lose your company?

The last posts were not well received. “Delusion, a sign of the times” was hard to accept. God’s grace and forgiveness, born out of His love, are easy on our ears. But, we seldom dwell on the God of the Old Testament. We would rather not think about wrath expressed in terrible judgments. Yet, we are quick to call for justice when there is a hideous crime. There is no greater crime than refusing God’s sacrificial love. The Father is just and His word reveals His judgments.

I was angry that day having seen a professionally crafted film clip accusing both the writers of the Old and New Testaments of plagiarism. The Scriptures were claimed to be copies of the concepts and events found in ancient pagan religions. Recognizing the spirit of deception, rather than argue with atheists, My purpose was to reveal that God does use evil religions and philosophies to accomplish His judgement on those who refuses to love the truth.

Why do I care?

Jesus has saved me. God’s resurrection power called me out of the tomb as surly as He did Lazarus. His Word and Spirit are changing me, and my desire is to glorify His name. So, I write to share the truth of God’s word, the wonders of His thoughts and ways. They are holy, as is His name.

“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient unto death – even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:8-11)
