179 of them and I am concerned.
Have I been blocked? I know that few click to visit my articles at hisfamilytable.com (WordPress keeps track.) Do they just read the first words on my FB page and move on. Or do they not bother at all. I regret the one time I fell into a trap set by “worldly powers of this dark age.” (Ephesians 6:12) Politics!!! My desire is to serve a King whose kingdom is “not of this world.” (John 18:36) Is that the reason my articles are avoided?
I am concerned, because every word is meant to be a blessing to the reader. Even the truth that opposes error is meant to be a blessing, once you’re use to its light. I am concerned that most are avoiding the light. “And this is the verdict, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, least their deeds be exposed.” (John 3:19-20)
Or maybe they are ashamed of being associated with God’s word on social media? They would also be ashamed to be openly associated with Christ among ALL of their FB friends. Refusing to put their own skin on the cross does not produce life.
Why else would Scripture be avoided? Perhaps I need to be more personal. Let my heart pour out, and tell them how sad I am thinking that God’s love is not wanted. Do I reveal my anger and hate for the sin that enslaves? Do I plead for them to listen? Do I tell them that I am lonely not being able to share God’s word with them, and they with me? Well, I just did. Back to prayer.
JESUS CHRIST “declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” (Romans 1:4)
