The chord of three strands.
This Friday Vicki and I will begin a series on The Christian Covenant of Marriage. Building upon the foundation which is Christ, marriage is a commitment before God to one another. A covenant rich in blessings.
“Two are better than one because they have good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not a second to lift them up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they have warmth, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

Father, thank You for Your gracious gift of salvation and the gift of a wife of noble character. She brings me good and not harm, wisdom and faithful instruction and I will honor her for all that she is and does. Your ways are glorious in and for the lives of those who love Your Son, Jesus. In His name I praise You, Father.
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” (Revelation 19:7)
