“Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, ‘It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.'” (John 4:41-42)
Christmas reminds us that a Savior was born, and that men can now hear for themselves the truth from their Creator. How wonderful the gift of truth that occupies our mind and heart. “By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” (1 John 4:13-14)
Because of Christ’s birth we know the Truth who is the Spirit who lives in us. Thank God for our Savior Jesus and the wonderful peace that comes from knowing that… “Whosoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:15) Now that is something to celebrate this Christmas!
