Wanna hear a new song?
“O sing to the LORD a new song, For He has done wonderful things. His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. The LORD has made known His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.” (Psalm 98:1-2)
Consider Jesus. He is sitting at the Father’s right hand having accomplished the victory of our salvation. He has made known the Father’s will, and His Spirit now witnesses to the nations. The problem is that this new song can, for now, only be sung in faith.
“He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the House of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.” (Psalm 98:3) It hasn’t happened yet, but soon every one will know that God has kept His promise. That will be an amazing day. ” Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises. (Psalm 98:4) Amazing and loud.
“Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, With the lyre and the sound of melody. With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout joyfully before the King, the LORD.” (Psalm 98:5-6) We will not be able to contain ourselves from overflowing with the joy of His presence. Consider the impact the Creator will have upon His creation.
“Let the sea roar and all it contains, The world and those who dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness and the people with uprightness.” (Psalm 98:7-9)
In the mean time consider this prophetic song, for surly it will happen. In faith, rejoice in spite of this world’s condition. From appearances it shouldn’t be much longer before Jesus will be here to judge.
