Playing in the mud, or making cooking fuel by shaping cattle’s dung! Is the child being supervised and taught a skill, or watched so that he’s not stolen and becomes a slave? The best we can hope for is that Poverty’s Child is watched because he is loved.
The best we can do? Pray that that man, and others like him, come to hear and understand the gospel message. Pray that they will live to follow Christ. Then a child will have a better life. There are plenty of tangible things we can do. We can pray that God would show us how, what and where to share. When we care, God can do. It’s that body of Christ thing I’ve been sharing with you.
