Some live for the moment, fools without care. Others labor for tomorrow at the expense of today. One thing is certain, time will pass revealing an expiration date. Time is experienced like acts in a play or chapters of a book progressing to a conclusion. As a series of episodes leads to their final season the time will come when we give our curtain call. There is a day when we will meet our Master, the One who gave us this gift of time. Invest it properly and then hear the words “Well done.”
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.'” (Matthew 25:31)

Time has always been a struggle for me until the past two years when I confronted the inner drive for performance being nothing but a cracking whip, a reminder of what I missed out on. I love this depiction of time you have grasped, it is inspiring.
