The Spirit of truth.
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,” (John 15:26) This helping Spirit comes from the Father, He was sent by the Son so that we might know Him.
“that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” (John 14:17) Because the Spirit cannot be seen, the world is blind to spiritual truth. Through the eyes of faith we see and believe. The Holy Spirit of God is in us. And this is how it happened.
“In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,” (Ephesians 1:13) We heard, we believed and were sealed in Him according to God’s promise of “salvation.”
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” (John 16:13) The truth we are guided into is from God who also wants us to know about the future.
“We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” (1 John 4:6) His Family Table is blessed to hear and share the truth about Someone Special, the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. Be blessed.
