Psalm 119
This is about the law and a righteous man’s heart that was touched by the Spirit of God. Some say, “It’s the season of grace, the law has done its job and is needed no more.” I wonder what kind of kids they will be when living in Christ’s kingdom? Some say, “It’s all up to God. They are just the clay, what ever will be will be.” What kind of a relationship is that? God is and because He is, we are. Christians are more than touched by God, His Spirit lives within us. Believe that the Holy Spirit, who led Jesus, wants to do the same for you and me. Our Father has His purpose for our lives, and I believe it is best accomplished through doing the things we know to do.
“Aleph.
How blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the law of the Lord.
How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.
They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.
You have ordained Your precepts, That we should keep them diligently.
Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes!
Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments.
I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.” (Psalm 119:1-7)
Jesus would teach us how to live, now that we do live, and the Spirit will empower us to live as we have been taught. Truthfully, wouldn’t it be nice to walk in His ways? To be full of His love? Our cup running over? Let us not be ashamed when we dwell on Jesus’ commands. He only asked us to love. We are learning His “righteous judgements.”
