Delegated Authority

God gives us power.

We who have “received” Jesus have been given a “right.”   This “authority” is exercised by faith in its Grantor, the only One to whom this “power” belongs. We who are “believing” in the Name which  means “to deliver; to rescue,” have been saved from sin and death to be the children of God.

“AS MANY AS HOWEVER RECEIVED HIM, HE GAVE TO THEM AUTHORITY, CHILDREN OF GOD TO BE, TO THOSE BELIEVING IN THE NAME OF HIM.”                   (Bible  Interlinear John 1:12)

This is how it happened. Jesus was and is rejected, but not by us. How terrible for those who saw His mighty works. How blessed are we who believe the report of others. We have pleased God by believing that He is, and who He declares Himself to be. Now we are blessed with everything we need, and more than we can imagine. He is Father to our spirit. We are the children of God.

We love you Lord!
