Are You At Peace?

“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.”
(Isaiah 26:3 NASB)

At Perfect Peace?

If you are, you are perfectly trusting in God. Chances are most are not. Things come up to muddy up the perfect. The world is pretty hard to avoid. It is in your face, you can’t close your eyes, and what you see cannot be denied. We have come to a day that will not be avoided. A day like no other.

These folks under the I-5 bridge in Seattle Washington appear no different than families spending their vacation camping. They are not on vacation, but they are better off than those sleeping on the sidewalks downtown Seattle.

Contrary to what your eyes see are the lies that are being told. One day we are given a dose of false security, the next some news to make us fear. The truth is, God does not lie. Like Noah or the watchman at the gate, those who believe want to shake the rest from their sleep. For His sake we will appear foolish and suffer being ignored. Small price to pay to tell the truth, and that is what matters. Besides, there is perfect peace being “steadfast of mind.”  Trust God, trust His word. Jesus will return.
