has a nice sound to it, like the wind of heaven that obeys God’s decrees.

“But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.” 1 Corinthians 2:14NASB

God’s ways seem foolish to many. You can pick them out of a crowd, their life is a mess. Some more than others. They are easy to spot, they are the crowd, men without God. Those who believe and heed God’s Spirit are relatively few, comparatively speaking. Sadly it has always been this way. With Noah the few numbered eight. (1 Peter 2:20NASB).

^” This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you.  As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.” (1 John 25-27 NASB)

The truth that God, the Holy Spirit, this anointing, abides in us is a most powerful and humbling thought. Take the time to gaze upon His beauty.

“Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.  If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him. (John 2 28-29 NASB)
