Why?

Why should we go?

“You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.” Deuteronomy 13:4NASB

We are not pastors nor are we missionaries. We are not rich Americans who can provide lots of stuff for them, nor are we politicians with something to gain. We are going to love them and tell them about our Father. We know Him. His Son, Jesus, revealed Him to us.

Matthew 11:27 “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

Wow! Because of Jesus we have believed and seen what our Father is like. And because we believe we have come to know His love. How could we not go when He made it so obvious that is what He wanted. Now we are clinging to Jesus; and like Him we are depending on the Father, and trusting in the Spirit to help us explain the love of our Father who sent His Son.

John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

So, now you know why. We are loved, and all because of Jesus who died for us. We will lift up Jesus, and He will show them the Father. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” We believe that Jesus will draw them. Someone lifted Him up to us.
