Needed Gifts
“Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.” (Romans 12:6-8NASB)
Father, may this be the time for Christ’s body to experience a grand display of your gifts. Embolden the one who would hear Your voice, so that they may speak your truth. Encourage those who would serve You by revealing Your presence. Enlighten the minds of those who teach, and those who would preach. Remind the one who has, about their brothers and sisters who don’t. Your gifts are given for holy purposes Enable those who would lead with the guidance of Your Spirit, and His lessons in humility. May Your mercy be clearly understood, so that we are not begrudging another.
I know it seems like a lot to ask of You, considering our present state. But I believe that nothing is impossible for You. Be glorified in our lives. I’m asking in Jesus’ name, and I believe He would ask You the same. Amen.
