Grace

When grace appeared

Born again, but blind as a newborn until God’s grace opened my eyes. I thought coming to God was doing Him a favor. He sure opened my eyes. Then I tried to please Him, thinking I had to do. Came to see only faith could please Him. When grace appeared I could finally see.

No longer do I need to struggle, my weakness finds His grace. Now, worry seems foolish, I know God is in control. So, I surrendered and entered His rest. Surely there are better things to do with my life than resisting God’s truth. He is God Almighty who sets the rules. Laws of the kingdom, designed to maintain this peace, are given through grace. “Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your law.” (Psalm 119:18NASB)

Here is the lesson for all of us. We need to be vessels of grace if we are to be a blessing. All have been damaged by sin. Most still carry fears and are frustrated by their own failures. If there is to be change there must be grace. The same kind we have recieved. Otherwise trust finds a hiding place.
