In Jesus

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1-2, 14NASB)

One cannot be here and there unless they are Spirit. From the beginning Jesus is both God and is with God. That doesn’t make sense unless you’re Spirit. Bodies like ours can not be here and there. Now think of this. God came to live in a body. He knows what it is like to live as we do. All the stuff we have to deal with, including Satan and his demons, Jesus has experienced and defeated.

Think of this. Other men were witnesses to God’s gift of grace. They said that He lived with them and they saw His glory. These witnesses tell us what He said, and describe what He was like, “full of grace and truth.” We have heard the truth and believed. Because we do believe we receive the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who led Jesus into the wilderness. His job is to lead us out.

With your mind dwell upon His glory, and keep the Word close in your heart.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7NASB) That’s Jesus saying “If and will,” not me. He is the One with all authority. Grace, we do not deserve any of this. But God has gone to great lengths to make it available to anyone who believes.
