Surely there will be many reasons to pray this coming year. At least there will be if we’re in contact with other people. Depending on the number of contacts, prayer might be fairly often. Sometimes out of love and concern, at other times we pray to keep our own sanity. Prayers for self control and prayers of repentance easily come to mind. This year my petitions, in the name of Christ Jesus, for me and my readers, will be along these lines.
“Let Your work appear to Your servants
And Your majesty to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;
And confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, confirm the work of our hands.” (Psalm 90:16-17 NASB)
May God grant you the vision to see what He would do, and may your labors be fruitful.
