His Purpose

The Potter’s Work
Sit for a moment and think on this. “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NASB)
Faith in God’s gift of salvation finds its strength in our weaknesses. No matter our failures, God’s love always prevails. Experiences become the components God will use to shape the souls of those who love Him. They have been called for a Devine purpose. Mine is to tell the doubtful how to know they are saved, and to warn those who are casually treating the grace of God.
There are many needing the weapon of truth that will defeat God’s enemy. The serpent strikes for the head of the believing sinner who lacks understanding. “Am I saved? How can I be sure?” That is not living the abundant life that Christ promised. Maybe there will be some readers who come to comprehend and discover peace with God. Perhaps those deceived will acknowledge the truth by leading others out of darkness. God knows.
What I know is that I desire to spread the “Good News,” this time in another book. My focus will be on God’s grace toward those who love Him. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, undeserved and only received through faith. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NASB)
Do you believe that He is? Then trust in His goodness and seek Him through His word. While you are doing that, I will write my book and share a thought from time to time. For the Father’s glory and the love of His Son “we live and move and have our existence.” (Acts17:28 NASB)
