Receiving the Kingdom as a Child

There is only one way.

Jesus is the way, the entrance into the kingdom of God, but we cannot enter unless we receive His kingdom as a child. What does that mean? The kingdom of God belongs to children. Innocent children because of the blood of Christ. They are humble and curious, asking a lot of questions and believing God’s answers are true. Born again. That should tell us how little they know at first.

Crawling then learning to walk ….. falling over and over, time and again, and in different ways. No need to worry, God’s love never fails. These children drink the milk of grace, God’s word that cleanses them as they grow in the knowledge of God. His children have entered in.

“And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.” (Mark 10:13-16 NASB)

Leave your pride at the gate, there is only one King. Good! You have entered in. Remember, you have never been on the path that lies before you, it’s best to let the Spirit lead. He will lead you into all truth if you show some interest. Ask and seek and knock.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8 NASB)
