Just so you know …. A short personal story
“but just as it is written, (Isaiah 64:4)
‘THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.'” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NASB)
I love what I do. It’s all good. Writing about the Kingdom of God, and what it is becoming to me, is the most satisfying thing I have ever done. It is a thoughtful work that begins by listening to the Holy Spirit as I read God ‘s word. Then I get to repeat what I have discovered about Jesus, my Father and His children. Having realized many of God’s promises, I want to shout out to everyone “It’s true.” God is, and He is a rewarder to those who seek Him. It is our love that wants to be with Him. It is His word that shows us the way.
My desire is for others to find this narrow gate, and share truth with those on the way. So, I wave this kingdom’s flag and announce the King’s soon return. Jesus, both Lord and Savior is returning. I take my labor seriously because I know there will be a day of reckoning. Wanting the best for all those whom I have come to know, I’m sowing seed. Some will take root and in time bear fruit.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.” (1 Corinthians 3:6-8NASB)
Apostle Paul called this labor. For me, the heaviest labor has been learning to trust in the potency of the seed. Silly, I know. God creates with His word! The rest of my labors are pure joy.
