Some things remain mysteries that make us wonder. They hold our attention as we look for clues, like tires and axels and time of day. Are they coming or going? What will their day be like, or is it nearly over? Wouldn’t you like to ride along as they chatted with you? I would.
Tomorrow I’ll be seventy-five. Lots of things I have never done, like talking with these men. My hope is in Christ. He has promised me a future, time without end. Today I will praise His name for His mercy, love and grace. He has brought me through the darkness into the glory of His light. Faith sees the future, the path that lies ahead, and I am so very thankful to be given more to do.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NASB)
