Well Read

I’m not afraid of facts. I’m well read in what matters. Now is the time to be grounded in truth and living the right way. In Christ! This morning I was surprised by someone’s ignorance, or fear, regarding this virus thing. Facts are facts and should not cause panic in the child of God. If you are not a child of God this virus very well should be of concern, it’s deadly. His children need only remember and believe what is written in Scripture.

“For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” (2 Peter 1:4 NASB) “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NASB)  “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”           (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB)

I’m sure we are not licensed to be slothful or lazy or careless with the safety of others. And thou shalt not tempt God with prideful foolishness! Learn the facts, prudently exercise caution and understand the meaning of every promise God has given to us. “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-7 NASB)
