What’s the Good News?

Things are moving quickly now, pretty much all over. The land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE have self-quarantined or when told, submitted to lockdown. Sheep in fear: Told how to behave, what to think and what to say. And what not to say! We will soon enter a dark day that outlaws the gospel. “Impossible!”, you say? Try sharing it publicly with a Muslim in Pakistan or Nigeria. If you preached or spoke the gospel it would not take long before violating blasphemy laws and being subject to death, or tortured then murdered on the spot.  There are lots of places where Jesus is not received as God’s Only Begotten Son.

Truth was crucified, died and was resurrected. Truth is denied and rejected by men as lies. Jesus spoke in terms we can all understand, and taught men how the gospel was to be proclaimed. They were fruitful having received the Holy Spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23 NASB)

So, get out there while you can and share this extremely good news. God offers forgiveness, made possible by His Son, and this wonderful fruit in our lives.  These boys would love to hear some good news. Don’t you think?
