I’m not a prophet, but I listen to their words. Not very good at telling time, so I live expectantly. Not trying to scare anybody, but I think it is wise to pay attention. First off, to God’s word, He means what He says. Check your self-sufficiency at the door that you knock on when seeking His provision. Jesus is Lord God with all authority, and we are His Father’s children.
There are lots of folks who don’t belong to Him, and they are starting to get a little edgy. Now is a great time to let them know why you’re at peace, who you’re trusting in. Jesus! What ever you do don’t offer Him as some sort of “fire insurance.” He is the Son of God who has a message from His Father.
“So Jesus answered them and said, ‘My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.'” (John 7:16-17 NASB)
If anyone is not willing to do God’s will God will know, and they will bow eventually. Foolish to pretend otherwise.
