Faith reduces Satan to annoying.
Faith knows there is nothing the enemy can do to separate God’s children from His promises. Satan knows plenty of ways to bother God’s children, like this crow annoying a bald eagle. The eagle stands firm, watching unmoved. Like faith, the eagle knows it’s an eagle, and that it is just a noisy crow.
You who are the children of God, Get ready for a crash course in believing God’s promises. I’m sure most of you know them. Now practice. Repeat them in your minds and be strengthened by them. They are our realities, God’s provision. Truth to be lived with our eyes wide-open and aware of the crow.
God has given us circumstances to encourage our maturity as His sons and daughters. Obvious opportunities to experience His peace, plenty of reasons to talk to Him and the joy of Christ manifesting Himself to you.
“For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.” (Philippians 1:29-30 NASB)
We the church, the intended bride of Christ, are being conformed to His likeness. That is why, in the mean time, we suffer the crow. Practice God’s truth and reduce all else to annoyance.
