Go to your room!
All the Reasonable, those concerned with their mortality, have been given a time out for considering. Control was a mirage. We thought we were the boss until we were sent to our rooms. God has given us time to meditate on what really matters. I suppose this time will be a shock to some folks who will find it hard to adjust. Distractions will distract from the thoughts that really matter. How many puzzles will be put together before seeing the big picture. The Reasonable have been given an opportunity to draw close and pay attention to what was said.
Let’s be truthful. God is working on rocky soil. We have thought ourselves in control. Just boulders in the road, temporarily resisting the Plowman. He is preparing the soil to receive the seed, the word of God. “And Isaiah is very bold and says, ‘I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became manifest to those who did not ask for Me.'” (Romans 10:20 NASB)
“Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. But I do not seek My glory; there is One who seeks and judges. Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death.” (John 8:49-51 (NASB)
Pray for the home-bound. This time-out will be a blessing to many.
