Preparing for tomorrow and resting from yesterday best describes Wednesday. The gospels tell us Jesus was in Bethany the night before. That was where the woman poured the perfume over Christ’s head, anointing Him for burial. Judas was upset thinking only of money lost. There would have been preparation for the Passover, Jesus’ Last Meal. Judas was also making preparation. He struck a deal with the Sanhedrin, and was now looking for the proper time and place.
