One New Man, yet Distinct Pg.2

 As He says also in Hosea, (2:23, 1:10)
“I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’
And her who was not beloved, ‘beloved.’”
“And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.” God divorced the Northern Tribes of Israel through Hosea the prophet declaring, “For you are not my people, and I am not your God.” (1:10) That is as serious as serious can be! But He will be bringing them back and calling them His sons.

“Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, (10:22-23) “For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea,
Only a remnant within them will return;
A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
For a complete destruction, one that is decreed, the Lord God of hosts will execute in the midst of the whole land.”  “And just as Isaiah foretold, (1:9)
‘Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left to us a posterity,
We would have become like Sodom, and would have resembled Gomorrah.'” (Romans 9:25-29 NASB)

It is going to get bad when “the Lord executes His word on the earth,” before it gets better for His chosen people. All of God’s prophecies (including Zechariah 13:8-9 NASB) will be fulfilled.
“In the whole land,’ declares the Lord, ‘two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.'”       To be continued
