Call a solemn assembly of the mind and heart before your presence daily, Lord. Then there will be confidence in the things that are said and done throughout the day. Remind us of whose we are, and who we serve. Without Your call we would not hear, and then act as if You were not. Our spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak. Call a solemn assembly in Your church Jesus.
Stir up the gifts that You have given. Empower the exalters of Your word. May our witness to You be true. “Many came to Him and were saying, “While John performed no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true.” Many believed in Him there.'” (John 10:41-42 NASB) Call a solemn assemble, Lord, and start with me.
Solemn assembly: serious and sincere gathering in the presence of God.
