The Cure

Needed to be rescued.

That is the reality for all of mankind. Until hearing and believing the gospel we were blind to reality. Blinded by the god of this world.  Perishing.

“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NASB)

Before we blame the god of this world for the majority of mankind being damned, after all he blinded their minds, listen; “This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.” (John 3:18-19 NASB)

And so were ours, but God rescued us. “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14 NASB) We heard and believed the gospel of the kingdom. How can we be silent knowing there is a cure?

“Jesus answered and said, ‘This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.'” (John 12:30-32 NASB)
