Confidence
Apostle John knew what he was talking about. He had first hand experience, he was a witness who heard the gospel from the lips of Christ. Jesus lived and died, as a man, according to the will of God. Jesus taught John the will of God, and he lived accordingly. O’ That we might have John’s kind of confidence.
“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.”
(1 John 5:14-15 NASB)
The confidence that comes from knowing God’s will, comes through obedience to His will that we know. That we all might have confidence that our requests are according to God’s will. That’s my prayer.
