OVERWHELMED

Sharing something God did.

Todays FB post to new friends from many different countries.

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!”
Romans 11:33 NASB

First there were ten, more than any other day, who asked to be friends on FB. While I slept another one-hundred-fifty-eight were waiting for me to respond. I didn’t know what to think. And the beeps kept coming. Then came the “Hi”, “How are you Sir”, and photos of Christian gatherings and ministries. There was one “Plz Sir help me” Listen carefully! The help I have is the truth of God.

At seventy-five years (with a younger wife) we live off of what we have gathered in the past. It is rationed after God gets His portion. We rely on our ministry in Pakistan to wisely spend God’s holy money. So, this is who you do have, an old man for a friend who shares God’s word with anyone who will listen. I will read your posts if they are in English or with translations if not and pray for you.

Please don’t think me rude when I don’t respond to you messaging. For me “Redeem the time” means dividing it between Scripture, writing, growing vegetables, keeping up on life in Pakistan and enjoying the good woman God has given to me. I just don’t have any more. Truly time does fly right by, if you’re not paying attention to what our Father wants you to be doing.

Each and every one of you are welcome to what I do have to share. When something is working to God’s glory it is possible to feel overwhelmed, before leaving the nest of comfort.

“Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.”          (Isaiah 55:1 NASB)
