Let love be without hypocrisy.
It’s easy to say we love, but do we love as Christ loves us? This is how we are to be, if our love is without hypocrisy. Love that is Christ like hates what is evil and loves its enemies. Often they come together, the enemy brings their evil ways. Thankfully our Father has given us a family. One that is called to love and respect each other. Listen to our Shephard’s voice as He leads us by His Spirit to live as children of God.
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.” (Romans 12:9-13 NASB)
We are called God’s children. Born of His Spirit and being conformed into the likeness of His only begotten Son, Jesus. There is no getting around this spiritual fact. IF we are saved, we will be changed. Evil will be hated, enemies will be loved and we will be devoted to each other. Love without hypocrisy. It doesn’t happen all at once, but Jesus is working on us. Amen?
