What did God hide and from whom was it hidden? What is this mystery brought into the light? What does “rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places” have to do with this mystery? How does God reveal this mystery?
“and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 3:9-10 NASB)
Jesus said He would build His church, “and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” (Matthew 16:18)
But the powers of Hades sure try. Jesus warned us about the end days. “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.” (Matthew 24:5 NASB) More than a dozen of my new friends on FB have also befriended one of these false Christ’s disciples. I have copied your names and wait for you to separate yourself from this satanic influence. What fellowship has light with darkness?
With all of this interconnectedness it is easy for Satan to spread His lies. Associations can have unintended consequences, our family members or friends can be mislead. I fear for them. Cast out this demonic evil. “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:21 NASB)
