Change You Can Believe In

Change is coming

Zechariah describes the change that’s coming. Some of the best parts are revealed in chapter 14. From God’s triumph over the gentile nations to Jesus’ reign as King over those who survive include this beautiful promise. “Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.” (Zechariah 14:16 NASB)

Can you imagine traveling, at least once a year, to worship Jesus in Jerusalem? In my mind’s eye I can envision vast multitudes of people. A mingling of cultures and colors united in worship, joyfully singing in praise to the Lord. So, imaginations, grounded in God’s word, enable us to picture, as best we can, this celebration of believers in the Lord Jesus. His revelations allow us to peek into the future giving us hope and strengthening  our faith.

“For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 1:11 NASB)

Yes, there is a big change coming and I am excited.
