Seeking God
God has made it easy to find Him, if you’re seeking. By that I mean, really believing that He is, and wanting what He has to give, His love and His Life. Only the Creator can give life, resurrect the dead and then decide continued existence. I needed God’s love and wanted to live. For me it’s been a long journey traveling from darkness to light. I was a total mess who actually thought, because I believed, that I could help God in some way. All of my pride I had to see, while God never gave up or turned me away. I found Him. His name is Jesus.
“Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death of a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:8-11)
Above every other name.
We cannot name a name, in the heavens or upon the earth nor under the earth, that is more exalted than Jesus. His death proves His obedience, His resurrection proves His exaltation. That is why His death on the cross and His resurrection are denied.
The day will come when every created being will acknowledge His supremacy. It is a shame that God’s supremacy was ever challenged. It is sad that men still do.
