God chose to be their Father.
Jesus spoke to men of little faith, that they might understand how much they are loved.
“And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:29-32 NASB)
I wonder how many understood that God was clearly telling them to change their way of thinking. Even with little faith God chose to be their Father. In our Father’s kingdom everything goes according to His will. Part of His will is to give kingdom life to those who seek His heart.
I wonder about today. How many are seeking the kingdom of God? How many are seeking their own? Even the saved sometimes forget and need a reminder to change their way of thinking. Our Father does not want us to worry. He loves us.
