Bewitched

No other explanation!

I live in a world that has been bewitched. Deceived through various spells, held captive to the flesh and deaf and blind to the Spirit. I know it’s most of the world because Jesus told me about a narrow gate.  “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 NASB)

And just so we are on the same page,

VERB
bewitched (past tense) · bewitched (past participle)
  1. enchant and delight (someone).
“they both were bewitched by an enchanted evening”
    synonyms:
    captivate · enchant · entrance · enrapture · charm · beguile · delight · fascinate · enthrall · seduce · ravish · spellbind · hold spellbound · mesmerize · hypnotize · transfix · rapture
    antonyms:
  2. cast a spell over (someone, peoples or nations).
“It is Satan who has bewitched the many to believe a lie.”
    synonyms:
cast a spell on · put a spell on · enchant · possess · witch · curse · hex · hoodoo · point the bone at · tagati · entrance
Never has it been so obvious, it seems that Satan has little time to spare. Greed softened resistance to the spell that was cast through fear, that spread like a virus from nation to nation. Coupled with the curse called Hate a house began to fall. Men are possessed, without a mind of their own, yet believing they are ok.  Bewitched to believe in themselves and their own moral code, they are satisfied with the wide gate and way that lead them to death.

That God would shock them out of their stupor and rip false securities away. To speak to them and let them know they cannot hide behind a name without submitting to its Owner. How terrible to take His name in vain. Can they be shocked?  I pray.

“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15 NASB)
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” (1 John 3:15 NASB)

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:20 NASB)

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’     But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” (Matthew 5:43-44 NASB)

“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12
NASB)
It is easy to hear multitude of voices expressing their hatred. Judgements are without forgiveness. Morality is exalted above the holiness of God. That is the work of darkness as the blind choose their leader in the good old USA.
