Saints in Light

(Colossians 1:9-12 NASB)

“For this reason we also, (Paul and Timothy) since the day we heard about it(Their faith in Christ, and their love in the Spirit) have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,” Wow! That’s a lot, Filled! The reason?

so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”

Very grateful to have a wife who prays for me. It is difficult making the right decision when there is a lack of knowledge of His will. So, I do nothing except state my case to Vicki who patiently listens and prays. Well, that’s not entirely true. I go through various emotional moods considering a troubling situation that seems to be without a good solution. Often waking early with my mind reviewing all the details does not help. Vicki sees it all and prays.

I’m closer to a solution knowing that it must honor and please the Lord. Thankfully, His word makes us “saints in light.”
