“Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
Make His deeds known among the peoples.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
Speak of all His wonders.
Boast in His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful.” (1 Chronicles 16:8-10 NASB)
Trying to encourage others to do the same. This is where joy is found. When seeking, He is found in every thought and action. When found, He changes the heart and mind. To call upon His name and thank Him for what He has done, reveals faith. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NASB)
God has proven this to me, and I cannot keep this truth a secret. Want to be joyful? Tell others about what Jesus has done. The cross and the reason. It’s true! Praise Him and tell others what you know is true. God has chosen Jesus’ name to be above all names. Speak up and do not let the thief rob you of joy.
