“Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.” (Philippians 2:14-16 NASB)
Before I write, I read the word of God who knows my heart. I want to know His. So I listen. I’m old and too tired to fight with God. I’ve struggled enough, now I listen. Did you notice how many times I referred to myself. That certainly is not a reason to glory, but if God uses my writing to help someone’s journey then I will have reason to glory. In the mean time …..
GRUMBLING OR DISPUTING IS OUT! We are to be blameless and innocent children of God who are above reproach in the midst of this perverted generation. Agreed? Been politicking lately? Grumbling, disputing? So easy to get caught up in darkness and loose the freedom that comes from being a Christian. Reality checks are necessities called prayer and meditation.
