“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8 NASB) “Finally!” I have reached a point where I can say, “Finally.” These “things” Paul mentions to the Philippians are full of beauty, and as I work in my garden it is a blessing to dwell on them. No distractions! Until leaving and becoming aware of the rest of the world. Then it becomes harder “to think about these things.” But not impossible when that “finally” becomes our guarded and defended preference! We are God’s children in training.
The photo is remarkable if you have read any of the Old Testament. Jews are praising Jesus on the grounds of “The Garden Tomb” in Jerusalem. Amazing Grace! God is willing to forgive.
