Let Scripture be true to itself. If we read as if we are listening to God the Spirit will then reveal things that we can not see, but are allowed to imagine. “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who does not show partiality, nor take a bribe.” (Deuteronomy 10:17 NASB) Have other gods tried to bribe God to show partiality? Did they not know of His righteousness? Or is this truth for our ears alone?
Being partial is unrighteousness. Jesus revealed His righteous Father. “And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone.” (Matthew 22:16 NASB)
The judgements of God are righteous; and spelled out in the Bible which is revelation of truth. Truth gathering dust on a shelf or stored in a box, sadly, foregoes the benefits of truth. Truth, rejected and mocked by man’s wisdom, cannot deny itself, nor will it be partial in its judgements.
“For the one who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.” (Colossians 3:25 NASB)
So Do Right!
