“Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.” (2Timothy 1:14 NASB) That was apostle Paul encouraging the young evangelist, Timothy. Today these words are for you. God has entrusted you with a treasure, a most exquisite gift meant for the body of Christ. What would that be? Well, it’s different for each of us. I know what it looks like, and the effect it has when seen. Amazing grace, love where love was needed. These are the gifts Jesus would give to His church, now it is up to you to follow Christ in truth.
No need for games or mighty works. God is not fooled and the treasure is buried when we only pretend. Satan is not impressed nor does he think us cleaver, his intent is to destroy the treasure. You are the treasure, the person God is raising as His own. Through the Holy Spirt stand guard! Be the gift you’re meant to be, we need you.
