My Job
Trust in the Lord, “pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit,” (1 Thessalonians 5 :17-19 NASB) He knows what we need, and that is not always what we are seeking. I had to block another pastor on Facebook today. He reminded me of the guy that snuck in some other way. He made me wonder whos ministry was he building? And then it became obvious, his own. A man without respect and greedy for gain. How do I know? It’s my job, I trust God and listen.
God knows everything about all of us, we are not a mystery. We are all in the same boat, just different cabins. The storm is the same, hitting all of us at different times and ways. God knows what we are going through, it is His will for us. Trust Him. Even when our circumstances are so powerful that they literally shock our system into the depths of grief, trust Him. Jesus knows what He is doing. He is raising holy children for His Father.
