Jesus came as a servant, even now He serves as our intercessor before the Father, as His blood cleanses our sins. There is no other way to be changed into His image. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NASB) That is the Lord’s ministry, healing the sick. Sin sick. The Father gave flesh to His Son, Jesus, the child in the manger. The purpose? Salvation. And multitudes of heavenly beings praised Him.
“for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army of angels praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.” (Luke 2:11-14 NASB)
No longer a babe in the manger, He sits beside His Father forgiving confessed sin. He is the Lord of creation granting peace to those who please Him. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NASB)
Every day I sing His praises one way or another. I’m hoping others hear with understanding and find their healing too. God bless.
